How much does PRP Eye Rejuvenation cost in Star, Idaho?
At SKYN, PRP Eye Rejuvenation with MicronJet is $250 a session, paid visit by visit. SKYN Society members pay $235 (Essential) or $225 (Signature). Most clients do a course of three.
What is MicronJet?
MicronJet is an FDA cleared micro injector made by NanoPass. Its tip holds three hollow microneedles of pure silicon crystal, each 0.6 mm long, that place your PRP at a precise, consistent depth in the skin.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe a light tapping. The needles are only 0.6 mm long, so numbing usually is not needed. If you would like extra comfort, just ask.
Will I bruise or swell?
Bruising is rare with MicronJet because it stays shallow, above most of the vessels that cause bruising, and swelling is minimal. Very fragile skin can still bruise now and then, and when it does, it is small.
What will I look like right after?
You will see tiny raised dots where the PRP was placed. They settle quickly as your skin absorbs it, and most clients go straight back to their day.
How many sessions will I need?
A course of three, about 4 weeks apart, then a maintenance session once or twice a year.
When will I see results?
Many clients see more rested looking skin within the first few weeks, and results keep building for about 3 months after the third session as collagen rebuilds.
What does PRP do for the under eye area?
The growth factors in your platelets signal your skin to repair and rebuild collagen. Over a course of three sessions, thin, crepey skin looks firmer and smoother, fine lines soften and shadows from thin skin look brighter.
Is this the same as under eye filler?
No. Filler adds volume to a hollow. PRP improves the quality of the skin itself. Deep hollows or puffy bags may need a different approach, and we will tell you honestly at your consultation.
Is PRP right for everyone?
We review your health history at your consultation. PRP may not be right if you are pregnant or nursing, have a blood or platelet disorder, take blood thinners, or have an active infection or cold sore near the area.
Who performs my treatment?
Your treatment is performed by Liliya Yanyk, RN, Aesthetic Injector & Laser Practitioner, with medical oversight from our Medical Director.
