What to Expect at Your First Visit to SKYN

Walking into a med spa for the first time can feel like a lot. Our goal is for your first visit to feel easy, unhurried and truly useful, whether you already know what you want or simply know you want your skin to look its best. Here is exactly what to expect.

Before you arrive

Most first visits start with a free consultation, which you can book online any time. After you book, you will receive our new client intake form by text and email. It takes about five minutes and covers your goals, your current routine and your health history, so your provider can keep every treatment safe and come prepared. If you do not get to it beforehand, you can finish it on an iPad when you check in.

When you get here

You will find us at 12545 W State St #105 in Star. Plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in. Our front desk will check you in and answer any questions about your visit.

Your consultation

This is where we get to know your skin. Many consultations include a VISIA® skin analysis, a set of detailed photos that shows sun damage, pigment, texture, pores and redness, including what is happening beneath the surface that you cannot see in the mirror yet. Your provider will walk you through the images, talk about what bothers you most, and review your health history to make sure every option is a safe one for you.

Your personalized plan

Before you leave, you will have a clear plan: which treatments we recommend, in what order, how many sessions, what results to expect and the home routine that will protect them. Real change comes from a full plan rather than a single visit, so we will map out a timeline that fits your goals and your calendar.

Making it work for you
